CloudConvert is an online file converter supporting a large number of document, image, audio and video formats, with a developer API. Conversion happens on their servers, so files have to be uploaded.
Toolkoa converts the most common formats (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, MP4, MP3, WAV…) inside your browser. For video and audio it uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. No account, no queues and no sending your files.
Real limits: we support far fewer formats, we don't convert Office documents, and with long or heavy videos the conversion depends on your device's RAM and power. The first video conversion downloads the FFmpeg engine (about 30 MB), which is then cached.

Images (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC…), video (MP4, WebM…) and audio (MP3, WAV…), plus images to PDF and PDF to images.
We don't set one, but a multi-GB video can exhaust the browser's memory. For files like that, a server-side converter or a desktop app is a better option.
Because it downloads FFmpeg for WebAssembly. After that it stays in the browser cache.
