Frequently asked questions
Can I change the text already in the PDF?
Not directly: cover it with a white box and type the new text on top. It looks like a clean correction.
Does white out delete the text underneath?
No. The box is drawn on top, so the original text is still in the file and could be copied. Don't use it to hide sensitive data.
Is Edit PDF free to use on Toolkoa?
Yes, the Edit PDF tool is 100% free, unlimited and requires no sign up or installation.
Are my files sent to any server when using Edit PDF?
No. Every operation on Toolkoa is processed privately and locally, directly in your own browser.
Do I need to install anything to use Edit PDF?
Nothing to install. Edit PDF runs in any modern desktop or mobile browser, and once the page has loaded you can keep using it without relying on the connection.
